Cala Santandria (Cala Santandrķa) is a very popular beach resort area a little south of Ciutadella in Menorca. As well as the main beach there is a little side cove here. Cala Santandria used to be a small fishing village. However, proximity to Ciutadella and a protected, sandy beach has meant that the village has been over developed with hotels and holiday apartments. As a result, Cala Santandria has virtually merged with Cala Blanca and Sa Caleta to form one area of hotels, beach resorts, apartments and holiday villas.
The cove of Cala Santandria is very long and narrow, terminating in a sandy beach. It is worth noting that, at high season, Cala Santandria can get very busy as it is so close to Cuitadella. The beach is good for families due to the proximity of numerous hotels providing various facilities and amenities.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
