Stenhouse Bay is a small settlement at the southern end of the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia, on the eastern side of Innes National Park. It is named after Andrew Stenhouse who founded the Permascite Manufacturing Company in the area in the 1920's, mining gypsum, which was exported to other parts of Australia.
Once the gypsum mining industry moved on, much of the town was demolished by the South Australian Government, except for a few houses used by Innes National Park rangers. Today, Stenhouse Bay is once again becoming popular for walkers and those visiting and camping in the park, many staying in Stenhouse Bay Campground.

Car: Stenhouse Bay and Innes National Park are about 75km west of Yorketown. The nearest settlement is Marion Bay, 6km to the north.
