Wat Traimit (วัดไตรมิตรวิทยารามวรวิหาร) is the most popular tourist attraction in Chinatown in Bangkok. The temple does not look very imposing, but inside is the largest golden Buddha statue in the world, attracting thousands of visitors to the area. The temple is thought to date from the 13th century.

The Wat Traimit Golden Buddha sits inside the main hall. It is about 10 feet high and made of solid gold, weighing in at just over 5 tons. The temples charges a small entrance fee.
