Canford Magna is a tiny village in Dorset on the banks of the River Stour just south of Wimborne Minster. The village is dominated by both Canford School, a public school that was previously the mansion and estate of Lord Wimborne, and the large Canford Magna Golf Club. The village has a small church, the Royal and Ancient Chapel of Canford Magna. To the west, the village borders on Oakley.

Car: Canford Magna is just off the A341, about 3 miles southeast of Wimborne Minster, 5 miles north of Poole and 7 miles from central Bournemouth.
