Badbury Rings in Winter - Wimborne Minster visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Badbury Rings in Winter' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Dorset.
Badbury Rings is an ancient Iron Age hill fort between Wimborne Minster and Blandford Forum in Dorset. Occupied since the Bronze Age (2200-800BC), it is thought the hill fort was still in use when the Romans came to Britain.
This picture shows a view from the top of the innermost of the three earthen ramparts. The site is now owned by the National Trust, entrance is free. It is popular all year round, especially with children who love to play and explore here. The site has commanding views over parts of Dorset. For more information, see the main Badbury Rings page.
