Para nascente a avenida José da Costa Mealha, origem da saída para S.Brás de Alportel e, no sentido sul, a avenida Marçal Pacheco que inicia o trajecto para Faro.

Praça Gago Coutinho is the central square of Loulé, a small, relatively unspoilt town in the Algarve region of Portugal. Next to the square is the municipal market, whose red domes, visible in this picture along the Praça de Republica, reflect Arabic influence. At the far end of Praça de Republica is Loulé Castle, one of the main attractions in the town Also along the Praça de Republica are the Loulé Archeological Museum and the The Hermitage of Nossa Senhora da Conceição (Our Lady of Conception).
Heading north of Praça Gago Coutinho is avenida 25 de Abril, along which lies the monument of Duarte Pacheco, an important engineer and statesman who lived from 1899-1943. The route east proceeds along avenida José da Costa Mealha, which heads towards S.Brás de Alportel. To the south runs avenida Marçal Pacheco, which heads out of Loulé towards Faro on the Algarve coast.
