Saas-Grund is located in the Valley Saastal to 1560 m above sea level in the canton of Valais with a proposal diverse in terms of ski resorts and hotels. It is an attractive village with plenty of wooden chalets, Romanesque church of the thirteenth century and the castle of the sixteenth century are well in percent of the village. The Hotel Monte Rosa was the 1st to be built in 1856. Mountain Hohsaas to 3100 m can enjoy a fantastic view of the 18 peaks of 4000 m surrounding the whole area.
