This panoramic image shows the old gate entrance to Fort Canning Park. The park covers most of the hill that surrounds Fort Canning Reservoir. The Reservoir is strictly off limits to all members of the public.

Fort Canning Park makes for a pleasant break from the bustle of Singapore City, and it is very easy to imagine that you are somewhere else. There is a visitor centre in Fort Canning Park giving some information about the history of the area, and providing some refreshments.
