Schoeckl Mountain - Paragliding Launch - Graz visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Schoeckl Mountain - Paragliding Launch' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Styria.
Paragliding and hang-gliding are two popular activities from the top of Schöckel, a 1,445m high mountain some 22km north of Graz. There are two launch sites, one of the eastern end of the ridge, and the other here, next to the cross at the western end.
Schoeckl is popular with people from the surrounding area for walking and mountain biking. A cablecar runs from St. Radegund to the top, where you will find a couple of restaurants, signal stations and the 'Hexenexpress' summer toboggan run. The views of the surrounding area are stunning.
