Städtischer Augarten is a popular park about 15 minutes walk south of Graz city center. It covers 7.5 hectares between on the east bank of the Mur river between Grazbachgasse and Schönaugürtel. The park is very popular with local residents, containing sculpted landscapes and various play areas and rides children.
At the southern end is the Augartenbad, a bathing pool that is very popular in the summer. The park is over 200 years old and is one of the most important open spaces in Graz after the Burggarten and Stadtpark. It is linked to Gries on the west of the Mur by Augartensteg, a pedestrian and cycle bridge.

Walk: Augarten is about 15 minute walk from the city center.
