Erich-Edeggesteg is a pedestrian footbridge across the Mur River at the center of . Crossing the bridge gives good views of the Murinsel and of the Schlossberg. It crosses over from Mariahilferplatz on the west to Kaiser Franz Josef Kai on the east.

Nearby attractions include Mariahilferkirche Church, Palais Attems and Schlossbergerplatz from which there are stairs and lifts up to the top of the Schlossberg.
