Johannes Zwerger Platz is dominated by Herz-Jesu-Kirche (Church of the Heart of Jeusus), which is the largest church in Graz and the third tallest church in Austria. In front of the church is a small, open area which contains a kind of pond. This is often used by local people, and children can often be found playing and roller-blading in the area.
