The Big Lobster is the star landmark of Kingston SE in South Australia. The lobster statue sites outside a diners of the same name at the northern end of the town, advertising the local delicacy for which Kingston SE is famous - Lobsters.
The town currently has a lobster fishing fleet of about 40 boats. The town, situated on the southern end of end of Encounter Bay and the Coorong, is popular for the pristine beaches and good fishing. Dolphins, seals and sea lions are often found here and the town is close to numerous conservation areas and national parks.

Car: Kingston SE is about 300km south of Adelaide and 220km south of Murray Bridge (B1). It is 160km north of Mt Gambier (B1) and 44km north of Robe (B101).
