Stockalper Castle in Brig is one of the most beautiful castles in Switzerland, Baroque-style castle Stockalper (Stockalperschloss) was built between 1658 and 1678 by Kaspar von Jodok Stockalper of Thurm. Kaspar Jodok was one of the most important descendant of an ancient family and a man of exceptional talent, smart, courageous, open-minded and extremely active.The three towers of the castle has the name of the Magi, Gaspar, Melchior and Balthazar. This castle has a Baroque garden, with some remarkable roses, fountains and vineyards.
Brig is also known for its spa called Brigerbad. Behind the train station in Brig, and crossing the bridge over the river Rhone is Naters, a nearby town of Brig.
