The Leith Street Footbridge is an interesting moden footbridge across Leith Street in central Edinburgh. It St James shopping centre with the car park on Nottingham Place. The bridge, opened in 2003, is 'S' shaped and made of steel and glass as part of the regeneration plans for the area which also saw the construction of the Omni centre nearby. St James Shopping Centre and hotel are also earmarked for regeneration development at some point.
