Drivenik Castle sits on top of Glavica hill (181m) overlooking the small village of Drivenik near the Vinodolska dolina (Vine Valley) of western Croatia. In Croatian it is known as 'Gradina Drivenik' and is mentioned in Vinodol's law code from 1288.
It was built by the Frankapans Dukes as the residence for their feudal Envoy-Captain. In the 16th century Drivenik Castle was increased in size in Renaissance style and rounded towers were added. Today the castle is the main tourist attraction in Drivenik and nearby is the Church of St. Dujma.
