The concert hall is in the Civic District of Singapore, where most of the old colonial buildings are found, including the Supreme Court and the City Hall.The bronze statue of Sir Stamford Raffles used to stand at Raffles Landing Site, just around the corner, but was to the front of the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall in 1919 during Singapore's centenary celebrations.
