Chrustenice is a small village just 10km of Prague near to Loděnice in the Středočeský kraj (Central Bohemian Region) of the Czech Republic. Chrustenice is also the name of the municipality surrounding it.

Chrustenice is an old village, the first written records date from 1037 when Prince Břetislav I appointed people to guard the tomb of St. Ivan. In the following years, ownership of the village and associated monastery changed several hands among local nobles and land owners.
