Mount Faber

Panorama from Mount Faber in Singapore. Mount Faber is a popular tourist attraction in Singapore. It is one of the oldest parks in Singapore and, from the viewing area at the top of Mount Faber, at Upper Faber Point, there are panoramic views over both Keppel Harbour to the south, and the Singapore city to the northeast.

Mount Faber is covered in Secondary Rain Forrest, and therefore is ecologically important for the diverse flora and fauna living on the slops. It is also the highest natural point in the whole of Singapore.

Mount Faber is also a popular departure point for tourists visiting Sentosa, many of whom use the famous cable car which descends down to VivoCity, and passes through Cable Car Tower in the World Trade Centre before continuing on over the harbour to Sentosa Island.

This panoramic image was taken from one of the numerous viewing areas that have been added to the ridge.
