Salisbury Crags are a popular walking spot in Holyrood Park, just over a mile from the center of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Castle. Salisbury Crags are 46-metre (150 ft) high cliffs that rise from a steel talus at the western end of the park. The top of the crags are about 165m above sea level, providing a commanding view over the surrounding area. To the east of the crags rises the even higher Arthur's Seat (251m), the highest point in Holyrood Park.
