Resenhof Museum - Bernau im Schwarzwald visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Resenhof Museum' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Baden-Wuerttemberg.
The Resenhof Museum is situated in the small village of Oberlehen, a short distance from Bernau Innerlehen in Bernau im Schwarzwald, southern Germany. Built in 1789, it is a typical black forest farmhouse with the living and farming quarters all under one roof.
In 1977 the over 200 year old farmhouse was converted into a magnificent museum which allows visitors to experience the home and workplace of farmers in the 18th century. Displays in the museum include great examples of agricultural and woodworking machinery which were extensively used in the black forest for production of clocks, wagon wheels, shingles, brushes, tubs, barrels and many other timber products. Several small woodworking factories in Bernau still produce and sell wooden toys, furniture, carvings, bird feeders, nativity scenes and other beautiful natural wooden products.
