Bernau Unterlehen is one of the small settlements in the Bernau valley in the southern part of the Black Forest in Germany. The main settlement in the area is Bernau im Schwarzwald and other villages include Altenrond, Bernau-Dorf mit Goldbach and Poche, Bernau-Hof, Bernau-Innerlehen, Bernau-Riggenbach mit Schwendele, Gaß, Kaiserhaus, Oberlehen and Weierle.

The region is popular for skiing in the winter, and walking and hiking in the summer.
