Boat Quay by day

Boat Quay by day

This panorama shows the view over Boat Quay in Singapore in the daytime looking over from the promenade near to Raffles Landing Site. The area comes alive during the night, when Boat Quay restaurants serve all kinds of different food from around the world.

It is quite pleasant to walk to Boat Quay starting at Merlion Park on the other side of Singapore River. You then cross the river via a footbridge linking The Fullerton Hotel to the Asian Civilisations Museum and continuing along the north side of Singapore River past Raffles Landing Site. Further upriver, under the Elgin Bridge and Coleman Bridge, are the MICA building and Clarke Quay, another area popular with visitors.

Travel and Transport:
MTR : Clarke Quay (NE5)
Buses along Eu Tong Sen Street, New Bridge Road or River Valley Road.
