Glasgow Science Centre is promoted as 'Scotland's leading Science attraction offers great fun, hands-on science adventures and days out for all the family.' The purpose built complex, on the south bank of the River Clyde in Glasgow contains the Science Mall, an IMAX cinema and the Glasgow Tower. It has been granted a '5-star attraction award' by VisitScotland.

Glasgow Science Centre - Attractions
- Science Mall - a titanium-clad crescent shape dome containing over 250 interactive science-learning exhibits on 3 floors, a Science Show Theatre and the Glasgow Science Centre Planetarium with a Zeiss optical-mechanical projector that projects images of the night sky onto a 15m diameter dome.
- IMAX Cinema - currently the only IMAX cinema in Scotland with seating for 370 and a 19m x 25m screen with 2D and 3D films.
- Glasgow Tower - 127m tall tower with a panoramic viewing platform at the top. The whole tower stands on a thrust bearing and the entire structure rotates.
