Steep Side Of Salisbury Crags - FURTHER INFORMATION

Steep Side Of Salisbury Crags - Edinburgh visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Steep Side Of Salisbury Crags' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Lothian.

Salisbury Craggs are a popular attraction in Holyrood Park in eastern Edinburgh. The crags rise about 45m above a steep scree slope and provide stunning panoramic views over Edinburgh. One path ascends up the scree traversing along the base of Salisbury Crags. Other paths ascend the lee side to the top of the cliffs, with views over much of the surrounding countryside.

Also in Holyrood Park is Arthur's Seat, the highest hill in Edinburgh and a popular attraction. Around the base of the park are the Scottish Parliament Buildings, the Palace of Holyrood House, Queen's Gallery and Holyrood Abbey.
