Underground Station Parque is part of the Blue Line and is between the stations of S.Sebastian and Marquês de Pombal, Lisbon, Portugal. This station was inaugurated in December 1959, belonging to the 1st phase of building the network Metroplitano Lisbon.
The themes of the Metro Parque station are the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Portuguese Expansion and Discoveries. The architectural design is the work of architect Keil do Amaral and Architect Falcão e Cunha and covering tiles produced by the painter Mary Keil. In 1994, under the Network Expansion Plan, which ran until 1999, the station was remodeled and has preserved all the original architectural appearance as well as flooring tiles, which was limited to the entrance hall of the station, all the remaining space was the subject of a large intervention, tiles and sculptures, written by Françoise Schein and Federica Matta.
