The 2nd Circular, situated at the north of the Tejo River is a fast road access to which helps distribute traffic throughout the city.
The 2nd Circular consists of Avenida General Norton de Matos, Av Marechal Craveiro Lopes, beginning in Benfica, connecting to IC19, coming from Sintra and ends at the Portela de Sacavém giving access to the A1 Northbound from Portugal.
