The Silver Water Aqueduct was built between 1531 and 1537 by the architect Francisco de Arruda, to provide water to the city of Evora in the Alto Alentejo, Portugal. It has nine kilometers long and begins at the foot of Alto de Sao Bento crossing part of the city of Evora.
