Piazza Terracina (Exeter) - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This little square located at the end of the canal basin at Exeter Quay is named after one of Exeter's twin towns Terracina, 100 km from Rome.
To the left end of the basin you can see a preserved railway turntable, now a seating area. This turntable is a very rare example of Isambard Brunel's broad-gauge branch line built in 1867.
