Notre Dame du Puy stands on the eastern end of Place du Petit Puy in Grasse, the 'Perfume Capital of the World'. The church, dedicated to Honorat d'Arles (saint Honorat), was founded in the 11th century and then extended in the 17th century and shows architectural influence of Lombardy and Liguria. It has a 55m long nave and is supported by 10 columns, which were damaged in a fire at the end of the 18th century.
On the walls of the church hang several notable paintings, including 3 by Rubens ('Christ crowned with Thorns', 'The Crucifixion' and 'St Helena'), the 'Washing of Feet by Fragonard, the 'Altar of St Honora' by Bréa and works by various other artists including Negro Charles, Gaillard and Sébastien Bourdon. For this reason, the church has become one of the tourist attractions in Grasse.
