Commonwealth Meteorological Station - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
The Commonwealth Meteorological Station in Cobar is located about 1 kilometere north-west of the town centre. The station releases daily a weather balloon which can be observed by visitors.
Sadly in 2009 the station ceased to offer tours for visitors interested in the operations of a weather station.
