The Val Senales Glacier sits at the end of the Val Senales/Schnalstal Valley at a height of 3210m. The closes village is Maso Corto from which the Funivia Ghacciao cable car transports skiers and other visitors straight up to the glacier.
Val Senales Glacier - Skiing
Due to its height, the Val Senales/Schnalstal glacier offer year-round skiing opportunities. At the top of the Funivia Ghacciao cable car skiers will find 8km of piste with 2 red runs and 3 blue runs served by erved by one chairlift and two drag lifts. There are also 5km of Nordic ski trails and a large snowpark. It is quite possible to spot skiers from various national teams training here before the next ski racing season starts.Val Senales Glacier - Hotels

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Flight: Bolzano Airport (55km away), Innsbruck Airport (100km away)
Car: From Bolzano Airport take the autobahn to Merano and Val Venosta, then follow signs to Val Senales.
Train: Take the train to Merano from Bolzano Airport and then bus to Merano and the villages of Val Senales.
