Gorge Blau dam is located in a basin high in the mountains on the north west coast of Mallorca. At an altitude of around 1000 meters, there is a marked change in climate and ecosystem between here and the rest of the island. A public picnic area makes this a great stop off point.

As part of a day trip, take in this and then continue to the monastery of St Luc, or down to the cala of Sa Calobra.
