Panorama of the middle court of the Goa Lawah Temple in Bali. This temple is also known as the Pura Goa Lawah (Bat Cave Temple) due to the cave containing fruit bats around which the temple developed. It is close to Goa Lawah beach.
To enter the temple visitors must wear a sari, which can be rented from the car park. You will then pass through an outer courtyard with a fountainto enter the middle courtyard shown in this panoramic photograph. From here steps ascend to another inner courtyard (our main page on the temple) with shrines and the famous Cave of Bats.
