Pistoia Cathedral is one of the main tourist attractions in Pistoia. The Chapel of the Holy Sacrament (Capello del Santissimo Sacramento), shown in this virtual tour panorama, is also known as the 'Chapel of San Donato' after the painting of Madonna Enthroned between St. John the Baptist and St. Donatus created by Lorenzo di Credi in the 15th century and hanging on the right hand wall. The painting also contains a bishop, identified as Saint Zeno, after whom the cathedral is named.
Visitors to Pistoia Cathedral should also take time to see the Altar of St James in the Crucifix Chapel.
