Lebih Beach

Lebih Beach - Bali visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Lebih Beach' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Lesser Sunda Islands.

Panorama showing Lebih Beach in Central Bali. Like most of the other beaches on this part of Bali, Lebih beach has coarse black sand. If you are looking white golden sands then continue south to places like Geger Beach.

Lebih Beach is about 9km south of Gianyar and is the beach next to the village of Lebih. To the south is Gumicik Beach while Klotok Beach and Klotok Temple are a little further up the coast.

Lebih Beach is famous for the good surfing, fresh fish and sea food and other water sports. Lebih was a traditional fishing village in Bali, and dozens of outrigger fishing boats line the beach making a colourful display. This panoramic photograph shows the boats lined up along the shore here. Behind these are a number of stalls which offer fresh food, caught straight from the sea.

There talk among members of the Fishermen's Association in Lebih about the great potential of the beach for promotion as a 'marine tourism site'.

From Kuta follow signs to Sanur. Then proceed up the coast road north for Semarapura.
