Molbury Quarry in Conrwall is one of the many clay quarries that grew up around St Stephen and Treviscoe after clay was found here by William Cookworth in the 18th century. The area is also referred to as Melbur and Meledor.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Road: Molbury Quarry is just north of St Stephen-in-Brannel, which lies on the A3058 road, 5 miles west of St Austell and 11 miles southeast of Newquay.
