Legian Beach - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panoramic photograph of Legian Beach is, adimitidly, not the best I have ever shot, and if anyone is able to provide a better one then I will happily see this one removed. Until then it seems better to have this picture of Legian beach up then nothing at all.
Legian Beach - FURTHER INFORMATION
Legian Beach - Bali visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Legian Beach' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Lesser Sunda Islands.
Panorama showing Legian Beach in Bali. As can be seen from this panoramic photograph, Legian beach is a long sandy beach. It is on the west coast of Bali very close to just to the north of Kuta. In fact, Legian beach joins Kuta Beach as you walk south, providing several kilometers of unbroken white sand.
Like Kuta Beach, Legian Beach is long and open, very popular with people for sea sports such as surfing, and, on windy days, kite surfing and wind surfing. Again, like it's sister beach, Legian beach is backed by numerous large hotels and beach resorts. In fact a search for 'Legian Beach' is likely to simply throw up numerous returns for Legian Beach Hotel, and very little information about Legian beach itself. To find anything about Legian Beach you will need to add '-hotel' to your search. As per usual, you will find plenty of bars and restaurants backing onto Legian beach, and sunbeds are available for hire.
Apart from the Legian Beach Hotel (and others), Legian beach is well known for two famous night clubs, the Gado Gado and Club Double Six.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Head for Kuta and then head a little north. Be warned that the driving through Kuta itself is quite a slow and painful affair.
