Hells Mouth is a well known attraction on the cliffs between Portreath Bay and Gwithian Beach in north Cornwall. Lying on the Southwest Coast Path on land owned and managed by the National Trust, here the cliff drops down giving dramatic views of the ocean waves crashing into the rock face far below. Next to Hells Mouth is a car park and cafe.
Visitors should take care when walking on the cliffs. In spite of the warning signs, people have died here falling off the cliff top. The views from here along the North Cornish coastline are fantastic. Hells Mouth lies on a popular 3.7 mile coastal walk between Godrevy Navax Point to Basset's Cove. Nearby are North Cliffs and Crane Islands.
