Panorama from the middle courtyard of Pura Puseh, a temple at a small village on the way up the slopes of Mount Lempuyang (Gnung Lempuyang) in Bali. The two sets of gates in this panoramic photograph lead to an outer courtyard and then the road. In the other direction, towards the hill, the steps lead up to the entrance to the temple's inner courtyard. This temple is not to be confused with the Pura Puseh temple in Batuan near Ubud.
Further up the volcano the road becomes more exposed and overlooks rice fields and the surrounding valley. Eventually the road became impassable for cars there is a dilapidated temple in ruins. The mass of clouds behind the temple here show the way on up the volcano.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
