Church Lane in Windsor leads of Castle Hill. The narrow, cobbled street, is close to the tourist entrance to Windsor Castle, part of which is visible at the far end. It is lined with numerous restaurants, many of which offer al-fresco dining on good days. The restaurants, offering cuisine from all over the road, are housed in old Windsor buildings. Also on the street here is the small Church Street Heritage Gardens, shown in this picture.
Also nearby is the Windsor and Royal Borough Museum, housed in the listed Guildhall building, and the Windsor Parish Church which contains a 17th century painting of the Last Supper.
