Valley Gardens are one of the attractions in Windsor Great Park. Covering 220 acres, these botanical gardens are free to enter with a car park at the northern end. The Valley Gardens are famous for the amazing display of flowering daffodils in spring. In spring the Punch Bowl valley is filled with flowering azaleas and in the summer the Heather Garden contains many varieties of flowering heather.

Other highlights within the gardens include the Totem Pole which stands close to Wick Pond at the eastern end of Virginia Water. On the southern edge of Virginia Waters are reconstructed Roman Ruins exported from Libya and erected here by King George VI.

The gardens were always intended to be freely accessible to the public and recent plans by the Crown Estate to enclose the gardens and charge an entrance fee were shelved after enormous opposition from most local residents.

Valley Gardens is lined with various walking trails, some of which are suitable for wheel chairs and buggies. Cycling is not permitted in most of the gardens.
