The Dock of Belém, also known as Bom Sucesso Dock, is situated on the north bank of the Tagus river near the Praça do Império, Lisbon, Portugal. It is equipped and prepared to receive 199 boats from 9 to 25 meters and with lots of facilities maintenance and repair services.
The Dock of Belém is for all sailors in the world, an important symbolic location: Portuguese ships set off from here that in secs. XV and XVI, which pioneered the Discoveries and so decisively revolutionized the construction techniques of sailing and navigation on the high seas.
