Glen Shiel Waterfall 2 - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Another panorama of the Glen Shiel waterfall, taken around the same time as the first (see link in main text). This one was much easier to take and gives more of a feel of the height of the waterfall itself, though the fantastic colours of the sky are lost. As you may be able to tell by the spots in the image, it was beginning to rain (again) and drops were getting on the lens as I took these images.

Glen Shiel Waterfall 2 - Scottish Highlands visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Glen Shiel Waterfall 2' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Highland.
Glen Shiel Waterfall, known as 'The Carry', lies on the Shiel River at the northern end of Glen Shiel in the Scottish Highlands, close to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isles of Skye. There is another panoramic photograph taken from near the top of this waterfall with very dramatic sky colours. This photograph gives a greater feel for the water tumbling over the rocks.
For more information on the area and the Munros found here please see the Glen Shiel panorama. A little further along the road towards Kyle of Lochalsh is the old Kings Quarry, a central departure point commonly used by hill walkers exploring this area.
