Praa Sands Beach in May - Hardly anyone there at all. Had the sunny day almost all to myself.

Praa Sands Beach is one of the best beaches in the whole of the UK. Lying just south of the village of Praa Sands in Cornwall, the sandy beach is nearly a mile long and flanked by Hoe Point to the west and Rinsey Head to the east.
Praa Sands beach is very popular for surfing year round and is also great for bathing an swimming. Within walking distance of the village, the beach is very close to the restaurants, B&Bs, self-catering accommodation and various shops. Almost on the beach itself is a pub and a fish and chip shop.
Dogs are only allowed on the beach between October and Easter. The headlands at either end of the beach are great for rock-pools when the tide is out. Praa Sands beach is also on the South West Coast Path.
