Cape Liptrap with Lighthouse - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Cape Liptrap in South Gippsland, approximately 200 kilometres southeast of Melbourne, is a narrow peninsula where the Hoddle Range meets Bass Strait. The coastal park has steep cliffs, folded marine sediments, rock pinnacles and wave cut platforms.
Above the cliffs at the tip of the peninsula is the octagonal Cape Liptrap Lighthouse built in 1951.
