Trafalgar Square - Lawn from Nelson's Column - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Here is another picture of Trafalgar Square when it had a lawn laid on it in May 2007. The grass completely changed the feel of Trafalgar Square, and it was, I think, a change much for the better. This panoramic photograph was taken from on the base of Nelson's Column and you can clearly see the lions for which the square is famous.

Trafalgar Square was transformed in May 2007 when for 2 days over 2,000 square metres of turf was laid on it turning it into a village green. This panoramic photograph shows the view over the green square from on Nelson's column, with one of the famous lions in the foreground. At the back of Trafalgar Square is the The National Gallery. There is another panorama taken from on the lawn at Trafalgar Square.
