Hastings is a popular tourist destination on the South Coast of England. One of the Cinque Ports and forever linked with the Norman invasion, Battle of Hastings and the death of King Harold, Hastings is now a busy seaside resort town, full of sights and attractions, both new and ancient.

Hastings Station is the main railway station in Hastings, situated on the Hastings Line to Battle, Tunbridge Wells and London, the East Coastway Line to Brighton and the Marshlink Line to Ashford International. Railway first arrived in Hastings in 1851, which began a boom time for the tourist industry here. The current station building was erected in 2004.

From Hastings Station it is a short walk to the town centre, tourist information office and all the attractions along the sea front. Outside the front of the station is the main bus station in Hastings.

Other train stations in Hastings include Ore Station, St Leonards Warrior Square Station and West St Leonards Station.

There is also a Hastings Station in Melbourne, named after the one in England.
