This panoramic photograph of the outer courtyard of Purwasidhi Ponjokbatu Temple was taken late in the afternoon, probably around 5pm with a lightly overcast sky. This unfortunately meant that I was either going to get a dark temple with well exposed skies, or a visible courtyard with a whitewashed sky. I opted for the later.

Panorama of outer courtyard of the Purwasidhi Ponjokbatu Temple (Pura Purwasidhi Ponjokbatu) in Bali. The temple is built on an auspicious cliff top, at the base of which is a small cove with a shrine and a boat statue. The temple is not marked in many of the guide books on Blai.

In the center of the outer courtyard is a pond with a small pagoda in the middle. Gates lead off from the middle of each of the walls. The one visible to the left of the pond with two people standing in it leads out of the temple complex. The gateway to the inner courtyard in opposite it. This grassy area is quite relaxing, and worth pausing to take in what is around.

Pura Purwasidhi Ponjokbatu is between Tejakula and Bandalem on the north coast road of Bali, a little distance east of Singaraja
