The Chapel Bridge is located in Luzern in Switzerland. It is a wooden bridge with 204 meters which crosses the Reuss River, built in 1333 to help protect the city of Lucerne from attacks.
Inside the bridge are a series of paintings of the XVII century, which describe events of Luzern's history, including biographies of saints, patrons of the city, St. Leodegar and St. Maurice.
In 1993 a fire destroyed much of the bridge along with his paintings, but was quickly rebuilt in its original aspect.
Near the bridge is the Water Tower with an octagonal form and 34 meters high, currently, the tower is part of the city wall.
